We are delighted to host you. This brochure answers everything you need to know before, during, and after your stay — from parking and check-in to linens, laundry, and how to reach us at any hour. If you have a question that is not covered here, our team is always just one call or text away.

Parking

Redamo Suites offers a convenient on-site parking lot located directly adjacent to the property. Parking is free of charge and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Security is a top priority at Redamo Suites. The gate and facility are secured at night. Your unique access code — the same code that unlocks your suite door — is also required to enter the gate and access the premises. Please do not share your code with anyone, and ensure the gate closes fully behind you each time you enter.

On-Site Lot

The gated parking lot is open from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM and secured overnight. Pull into any unmarked space upon arrival.

During peak periods, the lot may fill to capacity — overflow areas are available nearby.

Overflow Parking

If the main lot is full, use the overflow zones in order of preference. Zone 1 is the closest to the property. If Zone 1 is full, try Zone 3, which is nearest to the pedestrian gate. Zone 2 is the next option after that.

Zones are listed in order of preference: Zones 1 & 2 (closest to property) → Zone 3. Try each zone in this order if the previous is full.

Deliveries & Rideshare Drop-Off
If your delivery or rideshare driver arrives while the gate is closed, have them enter code 5621# at the gate. This opens the parking lot gate only. Direct drivers to turn into the lot immediately to the right of the gray building off Jefferson Highway. The Shrewsbury gate is exit-only.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-In Time

Standard check-in: 4:00 PM

Your access code is delivered at 10:00 AM on your check-in day. The code grants gate access from that time, but your suite door will not be accessible until 4:00 PM.

Check-Out Time

Standard check-out: 11:00 AM

Please ensure all personal belongings are removed and the suite is left in a tidy condition before departing.

Early Check-In Options

Need to arrive before 4:00 PM?

  • 4-Hour Early Check-In — $35 (access from 12:00 PM)
  • 2-Hour Early Check-In — $20 (access from 2:00 PM)

For long-stay guests referred through Ochsner, early arrival is often accommodated at no charge if the suite is ready. Please notify us in advance.

Late Check-Out Options

Need a little extra time?

  • 2-Hour Late Check-Out — $20 (depart by 1:00 PM)
  • 4-Hour Late Check-Out — $35 (depart by 3:00 PM)

Subject to availability. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to confirm.

Redamo Suites operates a contactless check-in process. There is no traditional front desk; your unique access code is delivered directly to your phone on the morning of arrival. A team member is generally on site between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM most days.

Entering the Front Gate

The vehicle entry gate is open from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM and closed overnight for security.

If arriving after hours, enter your Door Access Code on the keypad to the left of the gate, then press #.

One vehicle per code entry. Do not stop within the yellow lines.

Unlocking Your Suite Door

To unlock: Enter your code on the door keypad, wait for the beep, then turn the handle.

To lock: Press the lock button on the bottom right. Doors automatically lock after 30 seconds.

If your door beeps red, call us and we will reset your code immediately.

Call 504-332-8362 at any time — day or night. During daytime hours, you may also text. Outside of business hours, please call — our after-hours emergency answering service is available by phone call only.

Booking & Guest Registration

Information required to complete a booking:

  • Occupant's full name
  • Occupant's email address
  • Occupant's mobile phone number
  • Dates of stay (check-in and check-out)

Once a booking is created, the occupant will receive:

  1. 1A welcome text message (or email if text is unavailable) confirming the booking and providing next steps.
  2. 2A digital registration form to complete online — covering responsibility for damages and basic guest information.
  3. 3An identity verification step requiring a photo of a government-issued ID and a selfie (required because we operate without a full-time front desk).
  4. 4A credit card on file for incidental damages (standard practice, as with any hotel).
  5. 5Upon completing registration, the occupant receives a confirmation that everything is set. Their access code will be delivered at 10:00 AM on the day of check-in.

Long-Stay Guests

Guests staying for extended periods benefit from additional services designed to keep your suite fresh and comfortable throughout your time with us.

Complimentary Bi-Weekly Clean

For long-stay guests, Redamo Suites provides a complimentary full room clean every 14–15 days, including a complete linen change and fresh towels.

Our team will reach out to you to schedule a convenient time — typically around the two-week mark of your stay. You do not need to request this; we will initiate the scheduling.

Periodic Maintenance & Upkeep

To maintain the quality and comfort of your suite, our team performs routine upkeep tasks on a regular schedule, including:

  • Keurig descaling and filter changes
  • Monthly appliance and fixture checks
  • Quarterly deep maintenance tasks
  • Pest control treatments (scheduled)
Room Access for Maintenance
As part of your stay, our team may need to access your suite periodically for scheduled upkeep and inspections. We will always contact you in advance to coordinate a time that works for you. Granting access for these visits is a standard part of the stay agreement and helps ensure the property remains clean, functional, and comfortable for all guests. We appreciate your cooperation.

Towels, Linens & Laundry

Towel Allowance

Each studio suite is stocked with 6 towels at the start of your stay.

Towels are not usually refreshed between bi-weekly cleans. If you need additional towels, please contact us at 504-332-8362 (call or text during business hours) or you may use the laundry center.

Spills & Linen Accidents

Accidents happen. If you spill coffee or anything else on your bed linens, simply message or call 504-332-8362. A team member visits the property every day. For non-urgent situations, we will arrange a linen swap the following day. For urgent stains, you may use the laundry center.

Full Suite Clean Optional Add-On — $30
A full room clean including fresh bed linens, new towels, and a complete room clean is available for $30. Contact us at 504-332-8362 to schedule.

On-Site Paid Laundry Center — Building #2

A self-service laundry center is located in Building #2 and is accessible using your room code. Machines are paid and can be used with the CleanPay app or a debit/credit card. Rates are approximately $3.25 per wash and $3.25 per dry.

A starter set of laundry pods and two linen bags are provided in your closet (black bag = dirty items, white bag = clean). The hampers in the laundry room are reserved for housekeeping's use only.

Cleaning Supplies & Trash

The shared laundry room is stocked with complimentary cleaning supplies available to all guests: all-purpose cleaning spray, cleaning wipes, mops, cleaning rags, mop heads, broom, and dustpan. Please return items to the laundry room after use.

Trash Pickup
If your trash bin is full, place the bag outside your door between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM for collection. If you need additional trash bags, text or call us at 504-332-8362.

Outdoor Spaces & Property Rules

Exterior Patio & Grill

Guests are welcome to enjoy the exterior patio area and shared grill. This is a communal space shared by all guests, so please be courteous and clean up after yourself after each use — including the grill, surrounding furniture, and any trash.

Please be mindful of noise levels, especially in the evening, as other guests may be resting nearby.

No-Smoking Policy

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all suites and directly in front of any room entrance.

Designated smoking areas are available away from the building entrances. Violation of this policy may result in additional cleaning fees.

Suite Amenities

Coffee & Essentials

A starter set of coffee and tea pods, toilet paper, and other essentials is provided. If you need additional supplies, please bring your preferred selections or replenish as needed.

Lights

Light switches are near the door in each room; the kitchen switch is by the fridge. A small black switch to the left of the TV controls the over-desk light. Bedside lights are touch-activated — run your fingers across the switch underneath.

A/C & Heating

Adjust temperature using the thermostat located next to the TV. Do not adjust the A/C or heat directly on the unit — this will un-sync it from the thermostat.

On-Site Assistance & Greeting

While Redamo Suites is primarily a contactless property, we do have team members on site most days to assist with your arrival and any questions you may have.

On-Site Hours (General): Approximately 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, most days. If we know you are arriving, we will make every effort to have someone there to welcome you personally.

Tip: Let us know your expected arrival time in advance and we will do our best to greet you upon check-in.

Outside of on-site hours, our phone and text line (504-332-8362) connects you to a live agent during business hours. After hours, please call — our emergency answering service is available by phone call only.

Fitness

There is no on-site gym, but 504 Fitness is only a few steps away, offering day, week, and monthly passes. Ask us for more info or discount promo codes. Planet Fitness is also located nearby at 100 N. Labarre Rd.

Mail & Packages (Long Stays)

The closest post office is at 3517 Johnston St, Metairie, where you can set up a PO Box. Alternatively, mail can be received at the lobby mail shelves — we will notify you when it arrives. The lobby is accessible 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM with your code (press # after entering). We do not take responsibility for lost or stolen mail.
